28/10/15 My 5 years at Solway have been a rollercoaster ride I have made new friends and been in new classes with new teachers. My first year at solway was with Mrs Booth in Kanuka my first day was a nerve racking day my mum was walking me up the steps into my new class room. I was only five years old so I didn't know anybody so the only people I had were my big sister Tora and my mum. Then I saw this cute friendly girl called Scarlett. I knew that this was going to be all right.
In Harakeke I remember having a teacher called Mr Anchor and apparently he liked running races. One of my class mates called iziya challenged me to see who could win the running race. Then Mr Anchor called 3,2,1 and we set off. I slipped on the stoney tennis court and fell on my knees. I screamed in pain.
In Kowhai I had made new friends Faith Toilolo, Meadow Longmore, Porscha Futter and Sophie Goodin. Now im in Kauri the best class ever!!
